The Outback Queensland Tourism Association is a non-profit incorporated association. Established in August 1981, OQTA is one of the fourteen Regional Tourism Organisations (RTO's) recognised by Tourism Queensland.
The Board of Directors is made up of 10 representatives – one from each of the four sub-regions,
one from each of the sub-regional development groups and three representatives from the
broader tourism industry. These representatives provide an accessible communication channel
between OQTA members and staff. These directors have been elected to represent the OQTA
membership base and as such may be approached with your comments, questions and
suggestions.
